Manchester United, one of the oldest football clubs in the world, has confirmed a partnership with the company blockchain Tezos as their sports equipment and technology partner.

The purpose of the club is to introduce its fans to technology Web3 decentralized. The team will appear in the new kits for the first time on Saturday against Southampton.

Manchester United's previous sponsorship deal with Aon expired last month and will pay the previously agreed 33% of $27 million per year.

Tezos (XTZ) connects fans with Web3
